@ bold : even I was wondering.

Only logical reason I could find from a viewer pov : it is for ruhi's feelings to return (from vacation) . If he agreed to what abhira said then feelings would have stayed where they are now (which only ruhi knows, as viewers we didn't know when her feelings left poddar house).

Also it can be used by ruhi for taunting back abhira revealing she knows the truth about their fake marriage if/when abhira questions about her relationship with armaan & intention behind marrying rohit.
