No, no. smiley36 New year and Diwali are totally different. Diwali is the festival of lights mainly celebrating victory of good over evil. Again diff communities celebrate diff versions. Jains celebrate their version which is to do with their God. Punjabis call it ‘Bandi chhor diwas’, East India worship Goddess Kali, while majority celebrate Diwali as the return of Shri Ram coming back to Ayodhya and being crowned the rightful ruler after 14 years of exile.

From different BTS/precap clips seen so far about new granny of Amruta, she is outspoken, traditional, no nonsense village lady. Hope they give proper satirical / comical touch to her character. smiley17 But she doesn't seem like a widow. So are they going to introduce her husband too later? If so let this old couple be entertaining pls.smiley41

How will she take to live-in of Jayesh & Ishika needs to be seen. Will she stay in Jahan's flat or Jayesh's during her Mumbai stay? is she going to openly oppose Ishika's marriage to Jayesh & his impending divorce to Bhavani? or pretend she is fine. smiley9

Have heard a lot that for parents their kids are always kids no matter how old or responsible they get. That's kind of exaggerated with the Chitnis parents. Probably fits if Amruta wasn't there and Harsh was the only kid.

True Jayesh loves his kids but he did the unacceptable and ideally should never be part of the family again - but I fear he will come back later. Hope not... but think he will. To think he can have the kids with him is naive and stupid. To think they will be fine with his gf is stupid.

Similar goes with Bhavani - thinking her kids will have a better future with Jayesh. But at least her perspective makes more sense compared to his, given her character / personality. Jayesh's though is unbelievable - given his 'educational' and 'work related' background. Good that it was Harsh who mentioned i think twice in the past episodes that they can take care of themselves.

(btw... wrong to consider people (or women) from villages can be like Bhavani... nope... doesnt have much to do with village / city. Nimrit is a good example and may be Sanjana may turn out to be dumber than both of them.)

Anyways... been calling for a slap from Amruta since the beginning - guess we will get that at least in the form of 'Mr. Chitnis'.

But strange - things regarding Ishika is just brushed down as if its nothing - the ema and need to see whether its true even in the Ahuja household, since the last thing she did with Amruta should make people there in the least cautious. May be she will get in with an apology - or perhaps that wont be needed at all. [Well... not strange... since its not the first time the presence of the main villain doesn't make sense. smiley36]

Pehle, will she know about Jayesh and Bhavani's divorce? Are they going to lie to her?

Rahin baat Jahan Aunty or Jayesh, will she not force them back to Chitnis's house and throw Ishika out...Kuch bhi ho sakta hai with her dhamakedhar entry

-Yes, we needed that thought. They are not kids anymore but unke parents kabhi nahin samjhenge at least not their Father, Aai ke soch badlega but abhi woh confused hai.

-Village ya City, problem nahin hai, it's about their personality, education and a lot of things. Just like you mentioned with Nimmi and Sanju. Bhavani Aai capable hai, but her stupid ex Pati-to-be never tried to help her with that, tabhi toh she thinks, she isn't worth it. And with her kids by her side, she has to understand and makers have to make her stand for herself, that's the way. Yeh show agar zara successful karana hai toh yeh plot lana hoga,(my pov), kya kehte ho?

This is a story on ITV, it won't be perfect but if the team doesn't forget what they showed in initial promos, ppl will remember KMTMG for empowering and changing ppl mentalities. This is not only about Amvira, it's about their fam too. Let's hope for the best.

-The slap can come from Aaji also??!! But haan that "Mr. Chitnis" uff! Painful for Amu Lakin well deserved for Jayesh.

One question Aaji, is it Dadi or Nani? Since Aai is Maa toh Aaji is Mom ke Maa, right? Ya phir Marathi mein there is no difference???

- Ishika wala side hopes it develops with Aaji's entry. EMA is not acceptable and we need someone to talk about it. She should be fired by Ahujas if not done, but Lohri and Makar are going to be organized with both our Shingdana and Amu toh woh nahin hai na, let's see. Rahin baat villain ki, this show has no main villain only mean ppl (my pov). If she is truly the main villain, then we need devilish moves from her (not that kidnapping or the upcoming truck wala incident if it's her), koi naya idea mil jaye toh acha hoga.

Probably, Aaji is about to come maybe Tom ya on Monday eps toh Lohri end of the week or beginning of the second one. They didn't shoot that many episodes (because of the New Year break) so we can't tell. The time Aai mil jaye, Aaji arrives, she fighting Babita, beech mein pata nahin kya hoga with maybe Rajiv, the Chitnis separation, phir reunion with neighbors, solution by Amu, Amvira preparations if it demands much, and then the celebration...

Bhavani standing up for herself - yup. But will be good if they take time with it.. as in, let it happen over a period of time say, 6 months (seems too much in a show?... chalo ... 3 months) . Will be odd if after showing her the way she is complete transformation is shown in 15 days. smiley36 Aaram se... irl it will probably take many times more than 6 months.

Aaji - good question. I've heard only aaji for both nani and dadi. So had to google and it mentions nani (mom's mom) is 'mama aaji' in Marathi - but that was a new info for me.
