With 2 wives, it’s hard for Zaid to gain sympathy even though he didn’t choose this lifestyle. Wahaj does a great job expressing his stress, pressure, frustration and tiredness he’s feeling in his situation through his expressions and body language, but the audience needs to learn more about his feelings and inner turmoil to really emphasize with him. He needs more lines.

I have very few issues with the characterisation of Zaid. Somehow, I feel he's expressed well, though limited screen space is irritating even to me...Idk...Wahaj is a fantastic actor, so the thougts seem to actually be pretty well connected and progressive.... only thing is there's nothing to substantiate what we interpret. Otherwise, Zaid is the only interesting character ...MJ has a sense of humour and she's more accommodating in the second half, so the chemistry or whatever little is given - is a delightful watch. ❤️

He did mind. He didn't approve of it at all. Asif scooted from the scene 🤣 and MJ just managed to look elsewhere and not run anywhere...🤭 It was hilarious anti climax to MJ's sweet victory.

In a few hours, he came down for the party and he was too pre occupied with consoling Ayra to pull up MJ and anyway he has given up on reforming her. 😂

See ofcourse he did mind. But my point is, he made peace with the fact that MJ is certain way. He doesn't mind that much now. You know what I mean?

Yes. Hilarious it was the way MJ & Asif were excited 😂😂😂

I guess ppl appreciate a person who can change her ways...still ppl.pull her up for ruining Ayra's career etc recently. Nobody is a blind fan- just watching the story unfold without hating any of the characters.

Also I don't get it how they compare haya and mj..

Haya was trying to separate murtu and meerab and wanted to snatch him away from meerab..

But here mj wants to make a place for herself in zaids life..she wants him to love her and woh chahti hai ki zaid unka rishta nibhaye..she doesn't plot to keep ayra and zaid apart..they live in his room, have consummated their marriage but she's still fine with it because she wants to be in this relationship and now in the process has fallen for zaid and loves him genuinely..all she wants is zaid to love her back..

I’m with you on this completely. I too feel he’s expressed well and it all makes sense to me. I feel he is playing Zaid well especially considering his limited dialogue and screen space. I don’t feel the general audience is analyzing the show like we are and for them, I feel lines are important. At this point though, I do feel like our interpretations should be substantiated. Just a monologue of how conflicted he feels would be so effective because Wahaj is so good at emotional scenes - it could be done so well. I agree that his scenes with MJ are a treat to watch.

Mubashira is trying to separate Zaid and Ayra that was the entire basis of her allowing Zaid to marry Ayra in first place. Monday episode itself Asif asked her when will her plan of Ayra leaving Zaid succeed and she said something in Urdu which I didn't understand. She is plotting and scheming like Haya, the difference is that Haya was stupid

I have no idea how ppl compared Haya and MJ. 😂Here I've been comparing Ayra- and Haya and thanking God Ayra is far better to watch...I have no complaints from the character or actor - perfectly entertaining and somewhat unpredictable - but really interesting to watch. Good writing...again I won't enjoy TB2 as much as mein if there's a spineless character like Haya. Hope the writing improves on the third wheel.

It's very unlikely this story was written to keep Zaid - Ayra as a couple. What it intended to show was whether all love stories like Zaid's will stand the test of family drama and politics and unfortunately Ayra decided to take that plunge. So this story will look extremely toxic to Ayra fans. The conclusion from the drama for Ayra seems to be that she's better off being a career girl than even think about attaching herself to any man. She's a loner...she enjoys being that- just that she's conditioned into believing this is her happily ever after. Zaid and Mub are conditioned too...each one has to break out of that and choose the less toxic alternative.

I don’t understand the criticism Wahaj gets. His character is underwritten and hardly gets screentime but whatever it gets, he gives his best. He cannot play Murtasim everytime. His scenes with Ayeza are specially fantastic and I hope they work together in the future again.
