So vanga thinks anyone who criticises his film is an idiot, that they have no understanding of cinema and they are not smart enough to understand his film.

And he is calling the two characters lovers? Does vanga himself understand what he has made? He is constantly giving an excuse of the misogyny in his film as being love, it’s not love. So ranvijay as a ‘lover’ asked her to lick my shoe? Vanga needs to stop saying such dangerous nonsense!
and look how vanga is playing to his fan base by bringing up the feminism word, he knows his fan base gets triggered by feminism. No vanga, even if a women had said to a man ‘lick my shoe’ it would be equally as disgusting. But I’d like to see if vanga has the guts to make a movie based on a women doing the same stuff, but based on his mind set he would be incapable of doing that.

Javed akhtar has been in the industry for many many years, he has worked with some of the biggest directors and artists, he has made some of the biggest songs and written some of the best scripts that are etched in indian film history, and this vanga has the nerve to call his art form false? You don’t have to agree with what he said, but how can vanga question akhtars art and talent? What an arrogant and trashy person vanga is, he has no respect for even seniors in the industry.

If you have to constantly feel that you need to make excuses and explanations for the stuff shown in your film, then that shows you have made a problematic movie. The movie has done well, just chill out and enjoy the success, but alas, vanga is too busy explaining his film. A lot of people are criticising vanga for this tweet in the twitter comments, and what a chicken he is to tweet it from the Animal movie account and not his own account
