Most Indian traditional hindu weddings (whatever be local customs) are known to be colorful affairs, whether onscreen or when we scroll around us in real. Bride and groom are usually dressed to appear standout from rest of family members and other guests.

What prompted KMTMG stylists to give this kind of uniform dress code wedding look, for a self proclaimed elite south delhi super rich class conscious loud family?? (btw they have no resources to influence and get a star hotel banquet hall or some function hall to quickly arrange for this immediate wedding, but a small Mumbai temple)

All men are in white sherwani uniform, all women are in red zari silk saree/lehenga/suit uniform wherein bride & groom appear just as part of crowds..

Temple maybe because of Rajiv na? He was in a hurry. And I thought Punjabi wale koi aur shaadi karte hai sorry don't remember the name, Gudwara something or is it only another rite?

Kuch toh hai with the stylish, who is he/she? From the beginning, there should've been changes. The Ahujas are Average and still not a fan of Arjit's look. Sriti now is okay with her short sleeve and no sleeve.

That's Gurudwara / Gurdwara - place of worship for (Punjabi) Sikh community. Thats where they would get married too. Hindu Punjabis generally dont get married in a Gurudwara.. though it can be a place of worship for them too. In such situations they are more likely to get married in a temple.

Well... Going by Ahuja standards, they could've gone for a destination wedding say in Jaipur / Udaipur or some place similar. Need not have any excuses to have Amruta around all the time too. [For some reason other than what was shown, Amruta becomes Virat's PR manager of bank... and he asks her to come along for any bank requirements that may come up. Drama unfolds in that place over the period of 5-7 days. May be she learns about Ishika's affair with her dad in that time too - any case, something that Ishika wanted her to know.]

Zee Hindi was suffering before & post covid financially, losing distribution network plus their old time paid family subscriber base to other GECs.

Have read that other hindi GECs programming, marketing, business teams had some over haul in recent years, where as Z team couldn't attract better talent in senior management nor did proper re-shuffling, also because for more than 2.5 years Z groups merger plans with Sony are still incomplete so they are unstable.

Z was in panic mode to helplessly continue with those old Ek/BT prime time daily shows with a fear of losing some more long time habituated family viewers and advertisers. If same fiction shows were airing on colors/SP can say NONE could have crossed 1000 or 1500 episodes for their plots/outreach/leads/content/promotions in last 3-4 years, which is an itching fact.. also colors/SP allot better budgets for episodes plus invest much more in marketing & promotions than Z, hence have better control and also higher expectations from their fictions.

Later seems Prateek's Lsd films was ok to run shows on Zee with low budgets, following same repeat & rinse crime plus vamp templates of channels comfort zone, hence his shows also keep getting forced extensions and encouragement from channel? Its not that his shows are any great, than the other new daily shows that came and also went by within short periods on Z in recent years.

Instead of 21 or 22 minutes regular episode length, umpteen times in 2022 & 2023 channel has telecast Prateek's shows 25-29 minutes length by cutting short ad breaks time, just to showcase some TRPs to his shows and grab viewers attention where they don't get many chances to switch to other channels, during ad breaks.

So I feel long running fiction shows on Z have LEAST to do with who is lead actress/actor or content response & engagement from viewers, same goes with TRPs.. its mainly channel discretion (or at times helplessness).

Ammu is right about one thing - the men in her life are dumbasses. Him asking why are you inside (or the way he asked it) is apt for the title.

Bhavani... for a moment thought she deserves to go to her village and out of their lives. Glad she put her conditions - one of them was that the house should be for her kids, other two around the kids.

He agrees... but can see why Ishika will have an objection to it.

That ends week 5 (oh.. 6) Apart from Jan1 ep, which to me was a really good one, all the rest were more like filler ones. There were quite a few good moments here and there... but the plots were quite lame. Appreciate the movement on Chitnis side of the story. Ahuja's - guess i can say their side did get some story this week, but is overwhelmed by the functions. Could've avoided at least one plot to make it better - esp the confetti one.
