I went to a beach wedding as a guest in flip flops (chapals) and I fit in because everyone was dressed down. Problem here is that this wasn’t a beach wedding. This was at a proper venue with decorations and the whole set up. Guests who were dressed up and everything. The groom stood out like a sore thumb and that’s the nicest thing we can say about him.
