Neil may have improved in the phase you describe. Post Arias entry( which is when I started watching) she was the show stealer and Neil's acting was a continuation of Diya and by that I mean lack luster as a father and double timing husband and a iPS officer who blatantly mis used power in all these shades he was disappointing

That was the way he was supposed to look like a double timing husband , ruthless ex husband who only think about himself , an IPS officer who balatently misuses his power ... the way he acted people should dislike him

The song 🎵" kaun hai" he was sitting and remembering also was good ... he could make it look good even though Virat deserved every heart break , he still made viewers sad 😔

There was a time time Sai was behind Viraat to convince him about her love ( she was his wife) that track was reversed Viraat chasing Sai but he was married to Pakhi .

Even the way Virat deliberately used " physical pain to cure heart break " was also very impressive

What he was portraying was an older Virat , he really did show that !

Viraat was " watchable " only because Neil breathed life in to that character very well

Best episodes were the earlier ones where viewers really got addicted , children came later , ghum 1 , by the time 150 episodes lot of things happened the speed ghum 2 is going is too slow 🐌... want some thing to happen really waiting .

I get it if so many of you like the character Virat then the story line and acting should have been decent. Since I was not a viewer since the beginning I found his acting mediocre which ch is why I couldn't connect with him.

If you have watched YHM the accident track where Karan Patel had to play the role of Raman Bhalla who seemed to be helping his ex wife escape punishment for the hit and run of his present MIL , he nailed it. The guilt, the angst the helplessness. It was very convincing while bi couldn't connect to virat.vit could be since my viewing was not complete. The story line was so pathetic that I didn't feel late ke binge watching .

I would re-watch Arias scenes and was totally taken in by the acting skills of a 5 year old.i initially watched YHM for the Ruhi ishitha bond then began appreciating KP as the ruthless outside yet soft inside RKB. There was a surrogacy there too after which the story went awry .

I didn't watch YHM , it was very famous right ?

Remember the clips of Ruhi she was such a cutie

Can’t believe the episode is still not out yet. They are so slow. I need to find a good American show to watch so I can stop waiting for Indian shows episodes :/

He used his power because Sai hid the truth about Savi. She wasn't right either but then how will the audience sympathise with her so the makers conveniently butchered his character. After all she was the female lead so she has to be sympathised.

Even Sai wasn't keen on getting married to Virat. So, in a way both were in a deal marriage but later on he fell in love with her but Sai was still in a deal marriage zone.

I thought he was as hell bent on concealing the truth about Vinus identity and his justification was that Sayi had Savi.

They are fictional characters delineated as the CVs deem fit yet the characters playing the character breathe life into it .

At no point post the leap did it appear that Niel put that effort to depict the dilemma of a father torn between the ethical question of should he assuage the guilt with which Sayi was living or should he pander to the obsession of his Babhi turned Biwi.
