Ayra liked it when he asks things with so much haq, she was smiling. Also she was really into learning the tie for him and indulged him. A very cute and normal moment which I loved. We are so starved for romance in this drama that I’ll take what I can get and they’ve really grown on me.

Idk about Zaid’s style man. I prefer him with suits but his casual polos drive me insane. He’s wearing another strange one next episode lol. But yes style is definitely not something he gives a lot of thought to. Not like Dad Asif haha. Only asif and MJ are really into fashion and looking perfect all the time

Remember when Zaid talked about Ayra to him the first time and he found out she was an auditors sister he was like “Kuttay bhi dekh ke paaltay hain” which made Zaid super uncomfortable. and he’s still going to torture Ayra some more. He’s not done. She’s his bahu now, his son’s wife. But he won’t care.

I somehow don't hate Asif so much. He's like most parents - wants the best for them. Kash ended up making not a very bad choice and actually he gave her the freedom to break it off when she felt disrespected. There was no way money was more important there for him. If Rayyan did not have the guts to protect her and Kash had a stand about it, he didn't want to interfere.

He believes Ayra will destroy Zaid and will be a burden on him finally, compared to a class adjusted match. This is the son he was extremely proud of, he wanted to flaunt him in front of high society. Even when he disowned him, he had full faith Zaid would be back...if he had, it'd be at the cost of his self respect, but Asif's brain doesn't process it that way. He just feels he needs to make Zaid see how foolish he's in his so called love. He thinks Ayra is just after money and she seems to have confirmed that belief with her actions. We can explain away her actions, but a guy with poor empathy like Asif sees it as opportunistic behaviour.

Zaid actually feels protective about his father regardless of what happened. That's why he tries to dilute his part in persecuting Ayra- he wants everyone to take collective responsibility. Momentarily he might stand for his ego and self respect and will correct his dad and wish his sister made better choices in life, but he is immensely fond of both of them...

that’s natural. He’s his dad and he craves his approval and attention. But at the same time he also reported said father to the police from his crimes. Zaid knows what his dad is capable of when pushed so his relationship with him is very strained. He wants to believe he’s redeemable and will accept Ayra but we know through Asif’s past actions that he will not change. He’s the big bad here in the drama. Completely selfish and occupied with ego and without remorse. He’s obsessed with showing Ayra her “place” and is encouraging MJ to overpower her and give her no space. That’s not being a good father at all. Ever since Ayra has married Zaid she has not confronted Asif and is actually trying to make this work while struggling with a lot herself. But now she has overheard Asif planning against her just because she’s not from their class. I’m sorry but that’s inexcusable behavior from Asif.

He didn’t know anything about Ayra when he sent those goons to her house. He kidnapped and physically beat up her brother. Left him at the doorstop unconscious, got them both fired from their jobs and was forcing Ayra to marry a goon who was harassing her AND forcing them to leave the city. This is next level extreme behavior. To the extent that the audience actually rooted for zaid and Ayra to show him the middle finger and get married. From a story telling standpoint you’re not supposed to see him as a good father but as a manipulative selfish man who’s done criminal acts and gotten away on bribe. He literally bribed the police to not file and FIR. He and MJ were both there.

So for me Asif has no excuse. He’s just a horrible person and the worst father who puts class over his son’s happiness and would go to any extent to hurt someone his son loves. It’s messed up.

And what was his choice for zaid ? MJ ! Lol. A woman who’s off the rails and who Zaid did not like for her arrogance, selfishness and rudeness. He told asif multiple times that he didn’t want to marry MJ. But to Asif, she had money and was from upper class so that was what was important. Not what his son wanted. He went on an on about how both being from the same class would make for the perfect gene pool. Literally his words. Super gross.

Shahzad Nawaz is a brilliant actor and has amazing presence on screen and looks so good, it’s fun to see him. But he’s not playing a grey character here but a completely negative one. He’s only interested in his kids choices as far as how it influences his wealth and position in society. And he knows how to manipulate both. He’s sweet with them when they’re easy to control but when they’re not, he is absolutely vicious.

In her fastness, she did not realize she also screwed his marriage, his relation with his father, and also his sis newly formed relationship and also business.

Ayra if u couldn’t bear losing Zaid, you should have been in touch with him when his engagement was advertised or if it was late by the time you came to nikah, u could have waited for him to make decision . But u only tell the decision that u will not marry married man ? Then why bothering to tell him

Asif started his criminal behavior wayyyy before Ayra even knew anything or did anything ! Lol. Remember how he deceived Zaid, sent him off to Lahore on business and called Aamir to his office to blackmail him? He threatened to kidnap his sister and wife for gods sake. So please, Ayra did good by revealing his dirty secret. He deserved it and had it coming.

And if Ayra had spoiled the wedding so what ? Make amends with your son. Apologise. Right your wrong. Don’t go kidnapping and harassing people and firing them and making their life hell. So no, Ayra at the wedding was not the trigger for asif. He was already triggered by Zaid’s choice once it was revealed to him. And he started the blackmailing and deceiving. He betrayed his OWN SON.

So yeah. No excuse whatsoever

The walk of both MJ and Zaid , which is the last shot just makes me calm. Whether they will be couple or not , I think they will be friends and be for each other .

Once MJ’s Mein finally breaks she will truly reform. I do think MJ will still be very MJ but she will change for the better and genuinely. Right now she’s faking it and thinks this is just temporary but I think something big will happen which will be an eye opener for her. She will definitely ask Zaid for a divorce, for sure. They’ve focused toooo much on her begging zaid not to give her a divorce so that theme has to come full circle. Once they reach a genuine level of care for each other he will definitely not divorce her. This step has to be taken by MJ herself which will be the marked character growth. Only she can free herself of her Mein and think of her self worth.

Regardless of ending they will be amicable at the end even if it’s a parting of ways.
