Initially did you guys see zaid’s love for his sister?

Honestly I don’t see chemistry between lead characters be it Zaid - MJ or Zaid -Aira , which i initially fond strange but after the Maria B shoot , I feel with way the show is going I feel it’s deliberate, as they don’t want audiences to root for any pair rather look at them as individuals with there flaws , insecurities , strengths and weakness . The show is not love story , the Title Track gimmick was gross mistake and it backfired they should have actually promoted this show as Drama not Love Story, it would have gained more traction , maybe it was last minute decision as same Wahaj - Ayeza who looked so good in PS wouldn’t have been so indifferent as Zaid - MJ , they played them as non romantic leads that’s why u see bit of spark but never that rooting to see them as end game .

I feel Zaid and Ayra are endgame too. And to be honest ever since the hospital scenes they’ve grown on me considerably. They were in their cute little bubble of bliss and normalcy at the office, but MJ was of course having none of that. As much as it’s fun to see MJ’s games and Ayeza’s performance, I can’t root for her at all. So it’s equally fun to see her plans backfire and for Zaid and Ayra to work through their problems and come out stronger.

if you check out ARY’s official synopsis of Mein on their website, it says that it revolves around if “in the end, will love triumph over social status?”
That official synopsis just screams Zaid Ayra endgame to me. With MJ walking out gracefully at the end and learning her self worth outside of marriage. Maybe she will come quite close to getting what she wants but ultimately she will realise you can’t win love through playing games. Something has to happen to break her “Mein” in the real sense. Maybe it’ll be Ayras pregnancy. Maybe it’ll be succeeding in dividing Zaid and Ayra and STILL not being able to win Zaid’s love, in spite of Ayra’s absence. Some sincere humbling is coming up soon, I believe. Because right now she’s still feeding her Mein. No growth, just schemes of a different kind.

Maybe I’m on my own here but I feel no character development at all on MJ’s part. She is scheming to hold this marriage together. She was fine with the party because the attention was back on her. She places far too much importance on what people think of her. That still isn’t valuing herself but rather valuing the opinion of others more. She treated her staff terribly. I just couldn’t root for her at all today.

Don’t kill me guys but I kind of found the tie scene between Zaid and Ayra cute, particularly Zaid. He looks cute when he’s happy. I am in no way team Zaid and Ayra but I felt their scene today.

I was also surprised that Zaid couldn’t see through MJ. He seemed to be questioning her with his eyes the last episode. Does he believe that she actually loves him? Maybe he thinks that MJ’s speech would be embarrassing for her so perhaps he thinks she put her feelings above what others thinks. However it was obviously just her way of regaining the spotlight. Maybe Zaid was apprehensive before but now he’s convinced. I still feel like he is drawn towards Mubashira. I did enjoy their scene together.

Did it seem like Asif was also upset after hearing about the shares being transferred to MJ? Rayyan transferred his shares to MJ too? Since when did he make these types of sacrifices? I couldn’t tell how Kashmala felt about all of this. Asif should put some in Kashmala’s name too since she probably isn’t getting anything through Rayyan.

Ayra has figured out MJ’s plan and she will fight back but I think she’ll lose Zaid in the fight. She doesn’t realize that she already has the most valuable thing - Zaid’s support. He could have easily thrown it in her face that they would have been on their own, divorced to Mubashira and not under his father’s mercy if she didn’t place those conditions on Zaid. How did she expect him to buy a separate house for her under the current conditions? His under his dad’s roof, working for his company and most likely burned bridges between himself and the rival company. If it was really Zaid that she wanted, she could have avoided this whole mess. I think Ayra is really struggling with 2 sides of her.

I found their car ride make up scene as well as the tie scene very cute and endearing. It’s just nice to see Zaid happy and flirty. Their day in the office was so normal and free of trouble and you could see how simple their bond is when it’s free of outside negative influence and trouble makers lol. And even when they do face these lows, they work through it. I appreciated Ayra voicing out her insecurity and hurt with honesty today but eventually choosing to put Zaid first for the sake of their relationship. She compromised. In this show, I feel anything genuine and sincere is like a breath of fresh air. So yeah I dig them. Their mutual defeat at MJ being at the office now was also heart breaking to watch. But despite another setback their comfort and honesty is refreshing to see.

Kashmala was definitely NOT happy with Rayyan giving his shares to MJ. I feel like that conversation never happened between them. It’s just another way of MJ controlling rayan and I’m sure kashmala will not take this slight lightly. There’s also this scene in the teasers of Rayyan holding back Ayra from Asif so I feel Rayan and the Jaffers definitely are going to get their hands really dirty for MJ in trying to get rid of Ayra somehow. I could not root for them at all today. It just felt like a bunch of bullies trying to break up Ayra and Zaid.

you might be right in Ayra losing Zaid in her fight but I do think MJ won’t win him either. I feel sooner or later one of MJ’s schemes to break them up will work out but ultimately she will realise she hasn’t won either.

Getting father/brothers shares are scheming? Then what was that when that irritating Ayra grabbed teddy bear Zaid and dragged with her while Mubashira were just talking!! Ayra doesn't have brain to scheme, otherwise she would have done that. Already she has done enough with 0 brain.

Montage irritates me more than teddy bear Zaid and his dusri biwi. It's not love story, put only Mubashira there.

That makes sense though. But I honestly think that Ayra chose to marry a married man who is legally and socially with someone else. You can't build a home after ruining someone else's life. Ayra could have easily found someone else since she's unmarried but with MB, her life is more difficult. There is definitely more to life than marriage but missing out on a partner and family isn't a small thing. Her social standing may impact her but I do think she does want Zaid.

Thats what I had problem with Arya. If it was to take revenge, I could have understood. But now it doesn't seem so. And then the romance is indigestible after her brothers death. She wasn’t married so she could have got far better husband.

Also, can't understand why people blame Mubashra when she actually is the biggest victim in the show. Her scehems are not as big or destructive as some other characters.

I watched the last episode and it was entertaining and loving mubashira playing zaid and ayra. These two grown ass adults put blame for their stupidities on mubashira when she never did anything to them. So I am fine with her manipulating these two dummies . Why is ayra being salty about mubashira getting shares from her own father and brother? She was behaving as if mubashira got something which she could have had. It was understandable if zaid's father gave his shares to her or put her in a higher position in the office over zaid and ayra. if she had such inferiority complex she shouldn't have married an already married man or should have been adamant on not marrying him till he divorces mubashira.

The funniest thing is ayra and mubashira are having this war over zaid who don't have any kind of backbone and behaves as if he is some kind of big shot. The big shot is his father who is a daddy and not him. After everything daddy hotty did to ayra she should have walked away from zaid after getting the money and started a new life. Zaid is just not worth it. Mubashira just needs a husband for the namesake. So if it's zaid or random zyx she don't care
