in India there was no clash dunki came a day earlier and overseas esp USA the clash don’t matter much as both movies in the multiplex got screens and dunki tickets were higher in Regal cinemas and other chains which anyone can check.

I posted both movies the evening shows in regal and ticket prices u can search Any m regal where Salaar is in Hindi and dunki in Hindi. In telugu the prices vary. I guess box office mojo will tell us as well the weekend.

This is nyc cinema most cities have similar pricing. Salaar is released more in its own language then Hindi. In smaller towns it’s in Hindi mainly.

It is a long Xmas weekend.Holidays till after New year.I didn't understand the strategy of opening on a Thursday.For South, Permiere is a very big thing. Some poor judgement on their part. The film is medium budget, genre not massy,Hirani depends on WOM.They needed to emphasise that. Feel good film.

 They could have triumphed, in the eyes of the public...SRK making a film from the heart after two ATBBs.but optics is all wrong, with some in trade showing displeasure.I can see by Raj Bansal's tweets and tweets he liked..that he is unhappy .He posted both Salaar and Dunki numbers together.

The film is doing better today.WOM is good.Salaar will take a tumble today..like all south movies-not because content is bad.For fans it is all about day 1.

Everything is about public perception..

In telghu it’s the same price almost though dunki $1 higer but no package because most won’t see it and those not knowing hindi will need to read sub titles. 

In USA since movies not rated age won’t matter including animal which in my opinion they should because animal not only voilent but had XXX scenes. In Hindi Saalar is lower priced then donkey in Regal. Animal too had same prices like Saalar.
