The way I see it,there's no two ways about it.

He did attempt to maaro ek jhappad but stopped himself quickly when he remembered he's on camera .No excuses about Ankita triggering and xyz all going on at the same time can justify the action.So ppl can be blinded all they want by the Vicky bhaiya virus ,but it is what it is.Simple as that!

To me, it looks that way as well but I did not want to get into the whole debate of haath uthaya ya blanket hataya. Iss beech the main issue, being his aggression would've gotten sidelined. He could have asked her to zip it using his words, he could have gotten out of the blanket without the use of so much of aggression, he didn't do that. So yaha woh galat hai no matter what his intent was. If your actions, even unintentional cause your partner to flinch back in fear, there's no clearer sign than that to get your act right.

I can't understand why these two are married. I get the vibe that after her past relationship ended, Anku was so broken and afraid of being alone forever that she is hell bent on making this work despite the glaring red flags being waved at her.
