Difficult to predict a person before marriage. May be he was all lovey dovey or was a very sweet person but issues started after marriage. And if you have a kid then any decision is taken cautiously by women.

A very smart marketing move whether it was intended or not. It has the charm and cuteness of ghar ki ladki dancing at a family function. In the movie, this dance would not have worked, and viewers would have made fun of the lack of finesse, elegance and adaas. Tbh, the song did not make an impression at all when the film version was released but after this, it will certainly have recall value. Again if this was intended for marketing the film, mission accomplished.
