Ishika isnt perfect for ammu.

He thought his kids will side with him... they didnt. So in his world he feels betrayed by them. Hence some anger too. Could've had a scene about what he thought of after that alliance for Ammu didnt work out. About Bhavani... he has given many reasons.

Yes, it is bad that Amruta did not have a clue about him and I think in one way, Bhavani is to be blamed for that since she did not reveal about all this to her children, at least to Amruta who could have been prepared for it, but still Bhavani is not a bad person, she loves her husband and children unconditionally, even if she is not educated and forward like Ishika, she has a big heart helping everyone around. Is Jayesh so stonehearted that he cannot understand women married in the 70s and 80s consider their families the priority which was the norm of arranged marriages. If he could not tolerate her old fashioned ways which he would have known immediately after his marriage, he could have divorced her then and there before they became parents of two children

I understand that this is a serial and logic/normal emotions are not to be expected but still

Apart from Amruta not having a clue about it, one more thing that's odd (and serial like illogical) is the pride he feels about it. He may think he has done the right thing.. his opinion... but pride was off.

If only the writer can make Amruta more modern, we can see her in pretty dresses. He has shown Bhavani to be old fashioned school but introducing Amruta as a modern working girl, she needs to be shown in modern wear
