Nowadays the hype dies down fast if the promotions start more than a month before the release. Even srk don't promote his movies a month prior nowadays..

Iman was once popular, she’s a nepo baby and debuted at a time there wasn’t much competition so she could be an it girl without much competition. She’s never done dramas but she was in de bol which was at one point the biggest Pakistani films . It was Mahira’s debut film and I think she probably got more hype than Iman because of the song hona tha pyar with Atif Aslam. That’s probably where her saltiness with Mahira comes from.
She was once bigger than Mahira but she rejected a lot of films and kinda became irrelevant. She says she was first choice for raees but rejected it for some reason . She also dropped out of main Punjabi nahi jaungi with Humayun Saeed, dil lagi also with humayun, all these became hits so I don’t understand what her problem is. She doesn’t seem to want to work but also wants attention for work she didn’t do .

How many were offered raees? Literally every pak actress said they were offered raees. It looked like makers randomly approached a couple of pak actress and choose the one whose dates matched with the shooting schedule 
. I have heard Ankita lokhande was the first choice when raees started shooting but they later replaced her with a pak actress.
