You need to start watching light hearted rom com kdramas and then go to dark dramas. That way you will understand the cultural aspects more and will get used to some stuff. I connect more with the emotional aspect of kdramas than western dramas.

I have heard great reviews for the glory and it's been on my watch list. When I feel like watching something heavy I will watch it.

the light hearted romantic moments in this show made me cringe so i dont think light hearted K dramas will be something i would enjoy
