Probably all they have to do is make him call her for work - say after that scene at home (after the jail scene) make him call her up for some work outside. Understandable they dont want to show any place of work etc. Can be a long day... probably include a scene where she is tired from the long day... and continue with him calling her back to work during that party time.

Precap ep18: Rajeev deliberately puts Virat in trouble - brings Virat - Amruta to the family's attention while she was leaving with him. That was unexpected... and likely to influence what Virat does later (say promo scene).

Why are writers always in a hurry to copy paste Abhigya scenes, there was a similar scene like this in Abhi ML track with Dadi outside questioning them.

Writer, please get back to track and start again slowly and steadily taking time for individual characterization and family/bonding and focus instead of rushing things for trp's sake. Let there be normal days also without drama
