Watched it yesterday. Nice relaxing movie. Loved the 70’s vibe and some lines like “grass is greener where you water it..”

I like everyone except Suhana. Very refreshing youngsters. I don’t know why people are talking so negatively about an OTT movie. If you are bored just switch off the TV.

Gave in to my Archies love and watched it.

And liked it.

It's a feel good movie, nice watch for a lazy day. It's not a masterpiece, a bit long but not boring. The setting, costume, music ..all was on point.

Honestly, started to watch it half heartedly, a bit scared that it would ruin the book experience..whether it would match up in comparison and all that. But forgot comparing at all and watched it as a movie with its young, naive characters.

Actors aren't great but they aren't half as bad as mentioned in the reviews. They aren't consistent.. Lethargic is the word. They don't lack spark coz everyone showed some shine at a point...but the laziness showed. Khushi had the most lethargic body language but she has n adorable smile. Betty is my most fav character . Wish she added more spunk n energy. Award for most lazy dialogue delivery swinged between Agastya and Suhana.

Their looks aren't n issue at all..The boy looked fine..liked his hair 😀

Suhana was good too..had mentioned few years ago..her looks r her major plus coz she is different. Not conventionally pretty so not easily replaceable. But ya..of all others..she needs to work the most on her skills coz sometimes it bordered to overacting. Maybe trying too hard to be Veronica lodge..though she didn't need to. Coz Ronnie is naturally snooty, not pretentious 😂 Girls speak with that annoying Drawl...Archiekins, Noooo, Whyyyyy..but have seen teenage girls speak like that..Maybe even these female leads did so few years back...so it's passable

Lot has been said about Vedang and rightly so..he is all of that. The other one who impressed most was Mihir..Juggy is so good, so wonderful..why isn't he talked about more. Dilton..'Thank you' for being in the movie. Dot..wish we had seen more of her..very spunky..if there is any comparison with the comics then ya she fits Ethel precisely..Moose , Midge and all adults r good.

Overall Boys were better than Girls..among the 7 or 9.

If Zoya had made it as n episodic or webseries instead of a movie it may have been accepted better. She would've got more space to explore the characters and their dynamics. Audience would've grown to like them and find a connect. Here it's a lot crammed into one..so quite a lot of it seems unfinished except the green park revolution.

In short..liked it. Not a waste at all

Me, too, I liked Mihir very much and wrote about him. He now is working in a movie with Kajol (if my info is correct). He's also one who should have got more attention in the reviews...actually, all seven should have.

Yes, I also think that a small webseries would have had more time to explore the characters of the youngsters' group...it was a bit crammed.

When I watched it with the kids, from time to time we made a stop (the youngest couldn't read the German subtitles as quickly as his older siblings) and talked about what we had seen and noticed. They, btw., liked the movie very much and didn't criticize the performances...(they didn't know one of the youngster-actors and I hadn't told them who they are, but they recognized Suhana who they know from photos...and the eldest recognized "Suri's friend").
