Just finished watching the episode - enjoyed it quite a bit overall (I am in the minority who has liked majority of the season so far except for a few DUD episodes). Anyway, a few pointers/observations:
- I know I have ranted about this quite a bit already BUT how annoying can Ankita get? At the expense of repeating myself for the umpteenth time, I do feel really bad for Vicky! He is obviously frustrated about a lot of things and the frustration all comes out together on these small issues. Why can’t Ankita just let it be? And then she starts crying and apologizes and gets all the sympathy. People don’t see it from Vicky’s perspective. I have been with someone in the past who was very similar to Ankita and I used to ignore 10-12 things but then on the 13th all frustration used to come out at once so I can put myself in Vicky’s shoes and feel bad for him! And, how has Ankita never cooked ANYTHING for Vicky? No wonder she is the most lazy and dirty person in the house.
- This Isha/Abhishek keeps getting worse tbh. I never thought BB would air such revelations on BB. I remember in the previous seasons such details used to get edited out. Is it because BB no longer airs in the prime time so they can air such stuff? Anyway, getting to the point of these revelations. Firstly, I don’t understand how are most people okay hearing this stuff? Why don’t I see ANY backlash on Abhishek on social media from general viewers and celebrities alike? Have we started condoning such chu**** behavior? Slapping your gf, threatening her, breaking her phones and all. If this is all true, I honestly don’t doubt any of it, Abhishek needs to be properly reprimanded because otherwise we condone such behavior. But khair, I don’t have any expectations from a society where characters like arjun reddy / kabir singh / vijay are glorified. Secondly, if BB is airing Isha’s revelations, they should also do a better job at airing the other side of the story. If Abhishek really did all of this, we need to listen to his side of the story and he owes everyone an apology. I would go as far as saying he should take a voluntary exit because he isn’t doing his career prospects any good.
- I really enjoyed the Munawar stand up. Not all of it was perfect but considering he only had about 3 hours to prepare (usme bhi he took some time convincing people), it was pretty good. I thought 70-75% of it was written and delivered very well. The remaining could have been refined but can’t blame Munna. He did well with what he had and I had a few good laughs!
- What is happening with Mannara? I am observing two things. One is obviously that her screen time has reduced considerably since the WKV. Secondly, I am sensing a positive change in her behavior both in the episode and in LF. She no longer bitches about people. She has also started clarifying with people one to one. Again lets see how long it lasts but a welcome change because her negativity was making BB less enjoyable!
