Gave a bit of rewatch from 240 to 260. Clearly, episode 251 is the critical point. as It was the last sensible episode.

Episode 253 to episode 260 is so confusing. Like writers are changing perspectives every few minutes. At one moment, they portray Katha as traitor then and how her love is shallow, in the next moment they show her as a victim of terrible circumstances. Similarly, at one moment they represent Viaan as a victim of Katha's betrayal then in the other moment, they show him understanding how Katha hasn't betrayed him but, its her fears due to terrible circumstances and she still loves him.

In between all thhis they included Yuvraaj's cameo. He played zero role except to piss off audiences and make already confusing nature of Aarav's trauma 10 times more confusing. Also, Katha's motive to hide from past, also became convoluted. If her motive is to run away from past then, she shouldn't allow Grewals near Aarav too. That would be true representation of paranoia and fear.

The dialogue "Main Aurat hoon", was so bad on so many levels. There are much bigger and impossible expectations from men so she can stfu. And, if they fail to fulfil that expectation, they will be disregarded from society. Also, no one expected anything from her. Instead if she said she was a mother so even if she has lost to circumstances, she must keep fighting for her child would have made sense. This was the only annoying pseudo feminist dialgue of this otherwise gender neutral show.

I think episode 260 was only that made some sense from 252 to 260. Katha accepted her mistake and how her fear consumed her while Viaan understood because he was not there when everything was falling apart and he should have been there. Path to conclusion may have been convoluted but, this was the ultimate conclusion.
