That's their problem , they can only make characters look interesting when they have less screenspace....i think Preet di was right with her assessment of Neil in the previous EDT....the writers always intended to show the bare minimum of character development for Neil, we are the ones who thought that he's going to get more interesting and basically hyped ourselves to face disappointment

Kya kaha tha mohit ne article that Neil ke aane se bahut saare relationship complicated ho jaayenge....kya complicated dikha abhi tak. Even with all the hurt, he dedicatedly helps yuvika to complicated hua idhar. Aur baaki sab se uske interaction hi nai hote

Khud inhe nai pata hota ki Neil ke liye dikhaana kya hai. It's like they first wrote neil's aspirations in 1st draft then realised ki Neil yuvika ke saath kaise rahega to us part ko edit karke mahajan office join karte hue dikha diya.
