Yes, OTT platforms with Netflix, Prime, Zee5, and all people watch few episodes of web series than TV kyun ki wahan sab kuch quick hai (not many eps and great stories) and no loopholes (and you just have to wait for the next season if multiples).

ITV mein the problem as I said is they are writing daily for daily soap and that's the big problem (writers are under pressure and it's not great, not a lot can give the audience what they want but hats off to them, man!). They should change that. They can go with finite shows with a whole story written (beginning to end), then shoot it, do all editing, and then launch, like what we do here in the West but yeh kabhi nahin hoga ITV mein, kabhi nahin. Or go with seasons of 20 to 30 eps each. Plus, with the TRP chakar it's not helping either. That's why I always begin a show and not finish it, one because of numerous eps, stories, and tracks in a loop, too many loopholes in the story, and blablabla.

People still prefer TV but content makes them think about it and turn to the Web. And nowadays on ITV jitna show dekha hai a few are unique only and bakhi remakes with no authenticity tabhi log fed up hai. (Like me, a few shows are in my heart because of their stories even though I didn't complete them for the reasons above). PHs are trying to drag some shows to milestones but bhool rahe hai ke numbers important nahin, content acha hona chahiye takhi log charche kare after it goes off. Even a show with only 20 episodes can be better than a 2000 episodes show, only if the story is perfectly written.

ITV has the potential to change but I guess we need new daring directors in the industry to do it.

[Perhaps the closest version of Pragya is in the first track when she has decided to propose Abhi.]

Yes only vibe but she isn't Pragya

Journey of #amruta believing in love and find it after her baba let her down."

Well, that's great now make it memorable with amazing dialogues in the story. And the director should work a bit on directing phir yeah show kamal hoga inshallah.

Will give my pov on the first week after catching up on the latest three eps but look promising but everything is in the makers' hands.

Me too, she is too talented for this type of show honestly, but again ITV ka type casting mamlasmiley24

Yes, you are right but we have experience with ITV shows and channels, that's why from the beginning we are hard on them, giving our opinions. But as you said we surely need to give it time to judge.

Btw why don't you guys use English to comment here, no one understands Russian, Lithuanian and other languages (I mean except if we learned them). Not that we don't respect it but if we all foreigners speak our language then how we will understand and reply to each other? Don't get me wrong just askingsmiley31

Oh god, I forgot to translate.. smiley36 Great points.. smiley20 But unfortunately, no one in TV land is willing or even bothered to listen.. Ghanta farak padta hain.. People are just interested in ratings and making money. If things are going downhill, they will announce a revamp removing some shows, but replace them with the same crap they showed before..

Even in these forums, if you see, they aren't filled with people like 11-12 years ago.. When I joined IF in 2011, the place was alive with many people.. Hardly now there are a few and they too stop being active, once they lose interest in the show. Although I do see many comments on YouTube and tweets on X, so just that those platforms are more popular than IF, so this too can be a reason for decrease in the number of active members/users on IF

Yes, unfortunately, ratings matter a lot, and trps. You know I came to know about those numbers only by watching my previous show on Sony and I didn't understand why focus on it. Okay, the show is not great, for example, so just focus on what went wrong to make a better show next time, but nope, they don't and even not let it bounce back nor give time for it to end well.

If rating and trp are good then they drag it and torture the audience and compared to that when it's low then they give the audience what they want for numbers only and go back to cringing again (like two three days of happiness and boom again) . This is so pathetic, right?

IF toh ziada pata nahin (just joined last year, btw amazing forum it is, meeting some new ppl and all, sharing our thoughts) but I think ya because I heard a lot who come back after ages but then left midway as the show was not that great (we cannot blame then, can we?). And also I think ppl don't know much about IF too. I didn't know because I was a foreigner but I got introduced to it and I liked it. Not a lot share their opinions though, but jitna karte hai it's interesting to see if we are on the same page and all.

IF might not be as popular as other platforms but acha hai. X is only to tweet and I never get along with it and Youtube toh hai hi popular, but wahan discuss karna is not as great as here.

Ya and from that she should become independent. That would be great. And honestly, I wished she became a businesswoman ya something and maybe became Virat rival rather than a boss-employee track, it's a deja-vu and so boring.
