Well, hate she receives for her looks are mostly by incel fans of other actors, especially one Khan I won't name. Unfortunately she will never, ever be able to get through to that base of people. There will always be men dragging a woman's looks down. That does not mean spamming an acting performance of hers that is looking to be horrendous, because now that leads to neutrals realizing she's a bad actress and the incel trolls will still yammer on about her looks.

The Archies isn't really a Agastya-Suhana or even a Suhana-Khushi affair. Let's face it - Jhanvi was already far too much in focus during Dhadak, and the Bachchan guys are still dragged to this day about failed debuts. The Archies...people are watching only for Suhana.

And while that may seem good, because people are overtly biased, it ties you far too much to your parents and later on, in like a year, when her actual theatrical release comes, people will turn on Suhana. Because she has proven to be "untalented".

In a smaller vein it has already happened to Janhvi. At debut, people were sympathetic, even when she got panned, because of her personality and situation. But later on, at the end of the year, when Sara debuted - despite Sara actually behaving rather brashly (BLM ignorance, hitting maid...etc) Sara ended up gaining more love and people turned on Janhvi during Gunjan Saxena. Sara did break free from her identity.

This has also happened to Sid. He got the meatest role of the SOTY guys. But he never managed to materialize that into anything substantial acting-wise. Alia on the other hand, was the worst but really turned it around. Not everyone is going to have their Highway/Alia-like talent, but even from SOTY 2, Tara in Apurva has had the best performance of the 3 so far. Unfortunately, Tara isn't so ambitious about her career, otherwise Annipoo would have been pretty much over.

If Suhana is good looking then wow. You’d probably faint and never wake up again if you saw me.

What do you mean? Who else would they be watching for? Besides ofc Zoya Akhtar. But in terms of the hype...it is there because people are curious how the biggest star today's child performs. Which is bad. Because then everything is on her.
