Why did Sridevi not win Filmfare Awards for English Vinglish and Mom?

Was Vidya Balan really more deserving to win both times over Sridevi for Kahaani and Tumhari Sulu? Filmfare always seemed too obsessed with awarding Vidya imo

Not only was Sridevi better than Vidya that year, she was better than all competitors vying for best actress. priyanka was a close secodn for BARFI. Vidya was a distrinct third, IMO.

SHE TOTALLY DESERVED IT FOR 2012.

Subjective. For me Vidya balan was better. She deserved those awards.

PC deserved all the awards that year. But Vidya was a close second

Sridevi won National Award for Mom. But alas, post her demise though!

Sri deserved every award for EV, Kahaani as a movie whole is my fav because of its genre. But the winning card of that movie was its screenplay and story and the factor that it was based on Kolkata for me . Not because of Vidya alone.

Mom I somewhat agree. Tumhari Sullu had more range than Mom.

No, Sridevi was robbed that year.
