Kerala in general don't like the ideologies of the central so they won't care what the hyper nationalists thinks. If anything the more backlash the central shows the more malayalis will go and watch it in theatres
. It's anyway only gonna be watched by malayalis and people that are into Malayalam movies. Then it's not necessary that Mahira plays a malayali or even has to speak Malayalam.
Wamiqa did a malayalm movie as the female lead with not a single dialogue in Malayalam. She played a Punjabi and spoke only Punjabi, Hindi and English in the movie and the entire movie revolved around her. Malayalam movies don't butcher other cultures or languages like Hindi cinema. Jana gana mana is another movie with multiple languages used.
We don't hate Saba/Mahira/Fawad.
We just expected from them to atleast show some solidarity everytime any terrorist attacks happen in our country..thanks to their isi, pak army & their govt's involvement.
They will get all the fame, love , money from our country but when attacks happen they would not utter even a single word. All of them would just behave as if nothing happened
No one expects from them that they need to hold their army/govt responsible but atleast show some solidarity...
This has been happening for many years so it's pretty obvious that Indians will have resentment/anger towards them.
Coming to hate, no one really hates them. If it was then ScoopWhoop, Pinkvilla would not have been posting every year about Fawad. Mahira probably got more coverage of her marriage. Saba still gets love from Indians.
Also most important point, even after 26/11, Fawad, Mahira, Saba still did movies in India. Fawad was offered Padmavat (Shahid Kapoor's role). If there was so much hate against them, they would not have been allowed to enter India,. forget getting offered any role
