Some scenes if true sound crazy to say the least.
BUT, even if it all the mentioned stuff is part of the film, it will be a huge hit coz toxic masculinity is something the public seems to love even if the critics cry hoarse over how “problematic” it is.
World over people love to see such extreme emotions displayed on screen.
Sandeep Vanga clearly knows what the public wants.

scared pregnant women, humiliating wife, rape scenes- even if these scenes are for "storyline", i am going to skip this movie and inform my family as well.
These things leave a huge impact on mind.
Sometimes, Directors need to understand that such scenes can provoke certain audience or give them ideas. Sometimes visual representation is not needed- you can just mention these things in your storyline.
I think in Simba movie, Ranveer punished rapist but the rape was never shown.
@ bold, LOL you do know SAW and Hostel series have huge fan following right?
And the onus is not on the director/producer as long as it's A rated. Adults should know the difference between reel and real. People loved Sacred Games and Mirzapur which were full of sexual assault, violence, nudity and people lapped it and gave those cult classic status.

He wrote the movie out of spite for critics, but also created it for controversy. Once movie is done its theatre run this movie is going to be playing on TV. Hopefully kids stay away from it.
TV viewing standards are different as far as I know. They even cut down cuss words and s*x scenes when airing in prime times. All the gore and blood shed will be cut out on TV.
Leslie Jordan was a gem. Ranbir could never.
Sanju was on a film made to whitewash the image of a drug addict, who slept with 500 women, who stored weapons for terrorists to be used on the people of Mumbai,Who abandoned his cancer stricken wife..and then their daughter. Sanjay too had Daddy issues. Why was the film made?
No superstar would agree to do this film even on gunpoint. They want the image of someone fighting for the good of the society.Good vs Evil. Anti heroes fight for justice for their mothers/sisters/wives.
Domestic's abuse where men strike, humiliate, coerce, manipulate women and children.
That sexual violence and threat title, made me nauseous.
Playing a character with Papa issues.. Papa ne mujhe maara, mujhe pyaar nahi diya -booohooo .Selfish and entitled.
And Isn't the man's wife and children living with his father.Who died?
Is RK trying to embrace the image of a toxic man. Is Alia helping him create one?
Sam Bahadur is releasing on the same day.A great leader, who treated captured enemy soldiers with dignity, ignoring nasty criticism in his own country..not expected to perform at the BO.
How the media reacts to the two films in their reviews, will be interesting.
I am also a bit unsure about the scenes in Animal, but this analysis is absolutely ridiculous. It's like Sanju and Animal are the only movies RK has done.
He has Brahmastra and TJMM in between and they were anything but problematic w.r.t the points you have mentioned.
I mean it's okay to criticize the content for what it is, but taking shots at RK' personal life based on the characters he plays in a couple of movies, and indirectly at Alia (probably bcz she is your favourite's rival) is absolute non sense.
It's like saying Deepika played a double crossing spy in Pathaan. She must be a unreliable woman in real life. Better watch out Ranveer .. oh wait, based on his Padmaavat character, he is a merciless, violence loving womaniser.
Deepika has an image.. built over several of her blockbuster films. From OSO on she played women, for whome heroes lived and died for.. or at the least gave up their dreams and careers for( LAK, YJHD) In Pathaan too, she tried to kill pathan herself the second time. Yet he still loved her.
BigB,SRk, Salman,Sanjay,Ajay..they all had images.Akki had 3..action followed by comedy and then social work!
RK too has an image. When talking about Sanju, which is his biggest hit. I was talking about playing indulgent, entitled, unlikeable characters..
Shahid hasn't worked with a known director since KS. How has Devekondra done after AR?
Will RK really be accepted as Lord Ram. Animal will be a huge hit.. I am not sure what it will do for RK's career. Nothing heroic about the character he is playing.
This kind of propagation and glorification of violence, rape, abuse, threats is what normalises such actions. This is condemnable. Worst is making children part of criminal world- violence, murder, rape.
Lying on top a woman, raping women? That too in front of people! It's trying to show boldness, courage? Or is it a sociopath? Is this entertainment?
Sandeep Vanga strictly needs psychiatric treatment.
Ranbir should have not done this movie. It's beyond disgusting.
It's just Vanga's second movie (the first the Telugu and Hindi version of Arjun Reddy)...so, it largely depends on the response to this movie what becomes of Vanga himself...I suppose.
