exactly that’s what I’m saying too. And now suddenly gardar 2 which was panned everywhere but because it got such high numbers is applauded as a masterpiece but when u talk to people I have hardly heard many saying it’s iconic like gardar 1 and we know this movie worked because it played on one’s sentiments and things that happened in the past otherwise the leads in the movie aren’t memorable only sunny paaji carried this movie and his iconic dialogues and two extremely popular songs which were in this movie as well.

And ironically tiger 3 is being compared to that since one was pro india and trashing the other country and released on Independence Day which went well with the patriotic theme. The other in weakest day diwali still scored an huge number and Salman Khan beat all his records on day one and then on top of it the World Cup which is hosted in India. Yet with the movie which hasn’t even completed a week and not everyone as seen yet we have a zillion topics it including this one. Tiger 3 is still roaring and zinda hai jab tak tiger maRa nahi tab tak tiger haara nahi.

You don't know that and we can't predict box office of a movie. Punching down is not becoming, the man has given a successful movie, I don't know why are we putting that down?

Gardar 2 was success no one telling sunny paaji this and when Salman 2017 and earlier was in no one said these things and he was in almost same shape just younger in age he wasn’t his 20- 30 !s shape( though being on the thinner side is good in the long run ). However movies were mainly ATBBS. He just needs a better pr manager and in general exercise is good esp as you get older and a being lean and healthy is good in general celebrity or not because it gives you energy.

In topic: In tiger 3 he wasn’t lazy or nothing he played his character as he did in the previous tiger series and he looked good onscreen since a long time. As said it’s Bajrangi vibes to me and since long I’m happy with his movies since 2017.

Movie hit or flop depends on budget so why so much hullabaloo.. just check with its budget after two weeks to see where it is going.

budget only decide tag the audience liking it or not. That’s why I’m other thread I brought up audience ratings and rankings. The interviews suggest otherwise plus World Cup there. Anywsys the theatres running the movie esp singles screens seeing paisa. The budget is yash raj issue him se kya. They will recover it as they have endorsements and satellite deals etc. plus I have no sympathy on them it was their own planning to release in this date and VP Rohan malotra is the one who decided this with his team their is a video on why he chose this.

I still have to read all the pages in-between but wanted to comment on this...

I'm simpatico to that as I also prefer footfalls.

However, one has to consider the available screens.

12th fail is a sleeper hit and has a rather steady collection with limited screens and is really a case of good WOM.

For Tiger, I would like to wait for the time a f t e r the World Cup to pass any judgement (if ever).
