Shami's turnaround

I had forgotten that a few years back Shami had gotten abused online and there were many players who backed him during that time. Yesterday he took 7 wickets in semi-final and lived up to his teams expectations. I am not a fan of Shami, but in this WC he has been the saving grace for India at crucial times with his wickets. How many of you feel that people were wrong to abuse him during that time?
