You know what, a mature and sensible fandom is veryyyy important for a show. Most shows gets ruined because of fans & not makers.

All production houses goes for certain fan services as a part of marketing policy that's why fans should know what to hype & what to demand. Obviously makers should know which demand should get fulfilled and which shouldn't. But as fans or viewers we can only control our actions not makers. That's why we should think before typing

Can totally testify. Last show which i watched was destroyed twice because of public demand of a bunch of hyper fans of a superstar. It deviated from original storyline, then writers changed and they repaired it .And after few months destroyed again because of same reason. And now its Ghanta for those superstars fan again.
