Yes, even in that goon fight, when YUVIKA fell down, Neil didn't run to pick her up in a cliche manner but stood there for Yuvika to get up herself & go to him. Then also he didn't shield her, he encouraged her to fight & they together defeated that obstacle.
Neil never treated yuvika as damsel in distress. Rather he always encouraged her to fight her own battles while he is there to support here.
It is the same reason why i liked that goon waala sequence. Neil fight with her and for her.
That was not typical hero saving heroine from goon track.
Neil's love is empowering, he never bacomes her crutch.
