Like he could've easily asked Prem to shut up and helped him out instead of being emotionally blackmailed into doing it , or he should've atleast said that he feared for Prem's life and let him go back in 2003 , even that would've been a better explanation that could've saved this stupid , meaningless episode

The writers know that they have dug themselves into a corner so now they are just pulling stories and half baked explanations from their A$$ to justify everything but even that's coming off as botched
