Very true. Both katha and her son should be asked this question. What is exactly Viaan's importance in their life? What do they consider him, life partner/papa or just love interest/cool guardian figure.

Because the way both of them have treated him is just so pathetic and disrespectful.

Problems happens all the time in all relationships no matter how much love is there. But couples dont jump at seperation or divorce at the first sight of problem, they work it out. Katha was always skeptical about this relationship and she never got over her doubts and fears.

She always refer aarav as hamara beta, hamari jimmedari in happy times but she very conveniently switches to mera beta, mere jimmedari when there is slightest of tough times. Her previous fight with viaan regarding Aarav's school was an example of it. In fact what all the issues maaya maasi pointed out were all red flags about katha which viaan ignored.

And aarav also has double standards. As long as viaan is cool father figure he has no problem but when there is question of actual acceptance of him as his father, aarav is just a selfish delusional boy.

Koi mujhe batao, sab parents ke bech kabhi na kabhi ladai ya disagreement hota hai toh, hum kisi ek ke favour mein bhi ho sakte hain but kya iska matlab ye hai hum unmein divorce karwana chahte hain. Agar shadi ke baad doctor ne koi galti kar di to kya aarav katha ko teesra papa dhundne ke liye kahega? Ya phir agar kabhi katha se koi galti ho jati to kya aarav katha ko bolega ki ab wo uski mother nahi rahi. Children see their idol in parents,they think they are perfect but some day every child realises that no human is perfect. Aarav to apni age se kitna mature aur samajhdar dikhaya gaya tha aur ab wo ekdum immature harkatein kar raha hai.

I know what to do next. He goes to camp and there's some fire there. All children are running here and there and because of a stampede Aarav falls down and suffers an injury in his head. Forgets everything after that incident when he got stuck in that burning building and how his Robin saved him. Now he loves his Robin even more, calls him papa and wants him and his mumma getting married as soon as possible. Even Doctor Woh who believes in "healing" and not "curing" cannot heal him this time aur uska patta cut

Make it more interesting, now this time katha goes begging viaan to marry her again for the sake of her one and only jaan se pyara beta and this time viaan rejects her saying she and her beta is not worthy of his time, he has moved on in life.

Current situation isn't slightest of tough times. What was fault of Katha that these so called grown up people in their perfect senses brought their private affair out in public? This revelation is a big thing for Indian standards and in general too. And majority agrees here that if Aarav realizes the full truth, it will be entirely messed up. When things were private, then they came out. Now that they are in public, don't know what will happen. Only logical solution I can think of is to run, run as far as you can but, give closure to Viaan. Katha has already given closure to Viaan in the first occasion they met in private although Viaan was drunk.

The incident of Katha coming from our son to my son deserves criticism and explained her reason for her bad behaviour.

Rest, I agree with Aarav's part why is he poking his nose in adult's affair so much when he just knows Viaan hurt her mother and not the entire truth. When he only knows that there was some sort of dispute between them then who is he to call out for their separation?
