Watch out the Y'days bts of Tellychakkar ...there Viaan was sobbing knowing about Katha's engagement in his room and after that a invite of Raghav came and he told Teji that he is not going to attend the party but later still he went.Teji was worried along with Ehsaan and Vanya.I hope he turns indifferent after getting a closure from Katha but I think the makers are not going to take that path.They are in to create more misunderstandings between them,make them fight with each other and ultimately make Viaan guilty again.Remember that foreshadowing of Katha during Dargah trip .. .where Katha asked him "agar hum roz jhagadne lagey aur main aap ko buri lagney lagu"?

Those were mature romantic vibe, we expected mature romance from them not teenager. Yes, Viaan was more expressive in words but katha gave every reason to expect from her.

We should not hide behind practical Katha, care/longing has nothing to do with practical approach.

But that's the thing. She is not supposed to care anymore. All of the things you pointed out are correct. We do not see this Katha because she is not this katha anymore. All these emotions would make sense if she were unattached. But she has a fiance now whom she has chosen herself. According to her logic if you were cold-hearted in cutting your ex off, you've to continue being the same till the end. Viaan doesn't factor anywhere in her plans anymore, so what he does or doesn't do is not her concern anymore. As people who have witnessed their journey since the beginning we find her actions, her lack of emotions towards Viaan frustrating, cruel and wrong. Because we do not connect to her logic and reasoning. But, objectively her reactions are somewhat in tune with her new character sketch. Some neutral third party wouldn't find anything amiss in someone being unaffected by their ex and flirting with their fiance.

Yup...it was dark in the room and Katha and Viaan were facing each other with a candle in her hand both staring at each other.Seemed Katha was surprised seeing him in the party.Lights came and Viaan blew off the candleThen Raghav came introduction shuru..
