As for the episode, it was a business transaction between Deepika and kjo. Deepika used the platform to bring more awareness to mental diseases and her foundation while kjo got first ever clip of their wedding and interview together.

It was a good balanced episode, nothing more or less.

And i cant believe in this day age, we are judging a woman for dating around and checking her options before committing.

So i saw some people cite the “dear zindagi” chair scene example as a way of “picking options” in guys

See this comparison will fly only when

1. You are in the option seeking phase I.e not mentally committed to anyone…dp clearly said she was mentally committed and yet would date other ppl…if ur committed mentally why would u need to seek options? When u know he’s a nice guy who will stick around for u as u “have fun” with options ….that is toxic

2. You don’t actually treat guys or girls like chairs (inanimate objects that are just meant to serve a purpose for you..they are actual human beings and respect naam ki cheez hoti hai)

The character in dear zindagi was indeed highly toxic coz she sleeps with someone while being in a relationship with someone …dumps the guy she cheated with for no reason…treats her arranged marriage match like she’s better than him…

She rightfully need help and seeked it out …if there was a movie abt a guy doing all this, seeking help and then finding happiness …we would outage just like we did with kabir Singh ….

Dating and exploring options is never an issue…had she said “I wasn’t sure abt him so I dated others but when I was sure it was him and no one else” there wouldn’t be any issues …the fact that she said “I was mentally committed and still saw other ppl” is problematic..:normalising cassanova/heartbreaker behavior for boys or girls is stupidity

Especially when ur said partner on the same show talks as if ur gods gift to mankind …flippantly stating u put him on standby as u explored options while being mentally committed to him is hella toxic

Had the same statement been said by any male celeb, he would have been lynched by now

How was the set? colors? decors? Classy or massi?

Did you liked Karan Johar mental health speech? Do you think Karan friendship with Deepika is genuine? Do you think Ranveer dodged the questions or he truthfully answered them? How was the rapidfire?

I think kjo gets trolled badly and also Bollywood is not that accepting about his sexuality so yes I liked it because I felt it was honest. yes he told her first about his surrogacy news even before Alia (watch Alia Deepika episode) so he is good friends with Deepika. Do you think Ranveer dodged the questions or he truthfully answered them? How was the rapidfire? rapid fire was good but ranveer was better IMO

Thank you. See I always accepted Karan Johar as he is, problem comes in when he only support his gang star kids. And how he treated outsiders and made fun of them. Karan Johar was very nice person during KKHH days but he drastically changed. Good to know him and Deepika are good friends.
