Yes both fall in love, but his ex girlfriend and aunt creates some misunderstandings. She thinks he still has feelings for his ex and is trying to take revenge on her. He fills her maang forcefully at a temple. Later he pretends that he's marrying his ex but actually marries her after clearing all the doubts.
