He looks good

Started the show . Bilal Khan is a good actor and I liked his work in Balaa and Dank .

He is doing good acting and is the best thing about the show .

The heroine is pretty and has good dialogue delivery but her character is very boring . She starts preaching at the drop of a hat . I hope they change her character soon.

For the first time I am seeing fuchsia and SH having the same take on a drama. Both of them said the entire drama is carried by Bilal and there is literally nothing else to watch and all the other characters are poorly written and also acted poorly. Fuchsia rarely praises the actor in their reviews and Rabia was saying it's only bilal's acting thats worth watching.

The only thing SH have to say about dure in a 10-15mins review is how pretty or cute she is and then went on to say how annoying Shibra is

What I found interesting (?) is what Rabia said that Ishq Murshid is a fantasy/fairy tale so we shouldn't look for logic, or motivations and situations to make sense.

My first question is who decides what show is a fantasy or fairy tale? Fairy Tale drama - which has the effin' word Fairy Tale in it - ke baare mai yeh complain karti hai ke sense nahi hai, logic nahi hai, ye log ye sab kyun kar rahe hain, etc. Why are other dramas like Mein or Sukoon or even Tere Bin are not allowed this "privilege" to be considered fantasy so they too can escape scrutiny by Rabia & Shazia about logic and sense? Har cheez mai message dhoondti hai Rabia (even when it is not warranted) magar Ishq Murshad mai jab hero ne stalk kiya to woh bas hansi thattha tha?

Ishq Murshid draws inspiration from Bollywood films so I get the fantasy tag - magar at least be consistent in using the tag. Instead, mujhe lagne laga hai ke calling some show a fantasy is shorthand hai for aap ke fave ka drama hai or the team is well-respected (or connected) so you don't want to roast it or criticize it like the way you do other drama that also have leaps of logic and bits of non-sense. Instead give it a fantasy tag and can now brush all criticism with a light touch and focus on the good stuff.

Fuchsia in all their reviews criticised IM and even said except Bilal's acting others are also not worth mentioning. They also liked comments saying shahmeer is a stalker under their yt video. So it's not like they are enjoying it so I don't know why they felt the need to say this is fantasy when literally nothing in the drama says it's a fantasy. Fantasy is what goblin or the Marvel universe or Disney fairytales are which has a world of its own and the normal rules and regulations don't apply there. What's fantasy in IM? I highly doubt a drama with political bg can be a fantasy. Politics can never be fantasy. If fantasy means a rich super privileged educated guy magically falling for an annoying preacher to the level of stalking her and changing his identity which is quite hard to believe logically then IM is a fantasy .

Even if fuchsia calls IM fantasy they definitely are gonna criticise it. Rabia just cannot chill when it comes to reviewing dramas .

Everyone from the reviewers to the comments on YouTube and insta are unanimously saying the drama is watchable as long as bilal is onscreen and the moment it shifts focus from his character everything falls flat. That's just simply bad writing and bad directing and not because of fantasy or reality. If the single good thing about a drama is the acting skills and likeablility fact of just one actor then that drama failed in every possible aspect.

The fact that neither shahmeer's friend nor his wife who is friends with Shibra finds anything wrong with what shahmeer is doing is ridiculous. How can Shibra's own friend help a random guy get full information about her like that?

Fuchsia atleast in their insta review called out this but SH don't even go to that place and is busy on how good Bilal is and how pretty dure is. At this point the surprising thing will be when Bilal don't act good in a scene. So there is no need to waste more than half of the review praising how good bilal is and they need to start talking about how badly the drama is written and directed. Just because farooq rind loves to throw bright light at the face of the actors doesn't mean it's a good thing. He has been repeating that for 3-4 dramas and it's time for him to change his directing still. This stage play kind of film making is taking away the grandness that's needed for a character like shahmeer. Hum plays anyway looks low budget and farooq ring's style of direction is making it look even more low budget with too much zooming in to the faces and too much light on the face of the actors.

At this point I feel no matter in which direction the drama goes it won't affect bilal. No matter which review or comments I see everyone is collectively loving him. So this drama ending up a flop won't affect him. Hope he don't do this type of blunder in his next project.

Shibra's friend Maliha is not aware of the stalking part yet. I don't think Faraz has shared with her about all this identity change & stalking.

Friend ke thru setting toh chalti hai.. it's fine till it's within a boundary. Also Shibra's friend knows Shahmeer personally & thinks that he won't be a threat to Shibra so little bit of info sharing about her likes & dislikes is fine.

Had it been other details say sharing her phone no. then that would be wrong.

Don't think they will show Maliha's point of view.

And yes, Bilal now should choose his scripts carefully.

This drama reminds me of an old movie called ' Pasand Apni Apni " . It had Mithan Chakravarty and Rati Agnihotri in it .

Same story , same kind of situations .....

But the heroine was not righteous at all . she was very sweet and lovely .

This reminds me of a Govinda movie and rehna hai tere Dil mein and I have seen people take a couple of other movie names as well .
