I enjoyed the episode but I feel it missed the controversial fun take. Besides their wedding video a lot of info I already knew long before. Nothing much new was revealed, A few laugh out loud moments. The rapid fire questions were toned down. He even mentioned in the beginning of the episode they have removed the unwanted parts due to 'feedback'

Like he always mentioned its a frivolous show meant to be fun not so serious.

They both look so nice together! Deepika looks radiant. So happy she married Ranveer.

Loved their wedding footage - Deepika looked lovely in her bridal outfits. Also found that footage of her really cute and endearing in which she is saying that she fell in love with that part of Ranveer’s nature that others are not familiar with - his quiet side and intelligence. Very sweet

It surely was a real and an absolute heartwarming episode.

KWK seems toned down and the fun element is somewhat missing .

Yeah me too, I was thinking he would ask but then again it seemed like he wasn't gonna ask any of the 'uneasy questions'. I feel that's the tone of the show and he has convinced and reassured the celebs, hence they are returning otherwise I doubt they would.
I think we are too hard on Karan. Its not really fair the public should not take any show too seriously. Even the game segment was a bit meh.

Such a fantastic episode! There was no over the top moments, no silliness, no cringey things being said, which is usually what happens on kwk. This episode was real and honest, so many moving and emotional moments and conversations, even kjo was being so honest and real in the episode.

ranveer and Deepika really opened up about their relationship, from the moment they met, how they first started their relationship, the proposal, they spoke about it all.

the proposal story was so endearing and honest, ranveer spoke about how he proposed to Deepika in Maldives, his family told him beforehand to speak to her parents first, and ranveer admits that at the time he didn’t have that level of maturity to think about talking to her parents first. So he proposed to her in Maldives and she said yes, then they went straight to Bangalore and during a dinner with Deepika’s family and some friends Deepika wanted to tell everyone as she couldn’t keep it a secret any longer, but ranveer kept telling her not to as he didn’t think it was the best time to tell them. Deepika told everyone during the dinner and ranveer spoke about how her family were all shocked, then when they came home deepika and her mom were arguing about it. Ranveer said he worked very hard to make Deepika’s mom like him, and now he is one of her favourite people ❤️

Deepika spoke about how she had just come out of some difficult relationships when she met ranveer, she didn’t want to be in a serious relationship at that time, she wanted to be single and have fun, so her and Ranveer agreed to be together but to also be open to seeing other people. Deepika said she would meet other people but was never interested in them, she would always go back to ranveer, because in her mind and heart she was committed to him. Ranveer knew 6 months after being together that he wanted to marry deepika. So yes they had that agreement at the start, but they both knew they wanted to only see each other, they never seriously dated anyone else,

And this isn’t something new, deepika already spoke about this years ago in jitesh pillais Filmfare interview.

They also spoke about Deepika’s mental health struggles and how ranveer always was there for her, he never told her to get over it and he never questioned how she was feeling, he was also the one to call her mom and tell her that Deepika is struggling and she needs help.

Ranveer spoke about how he doesn’t wear flashy or colourful outfits anymore, he was tired with people constantly speaking about his outfits all the time and the ‘flamboyant fashion’ tag kept getting stuck with him. Even Deepika spoke to him about it and said his fashion is distracting people from seeing the real him and taking him seriously. So now he wears neutral colours like black and white. He also spoke about how he got through the rough phase is his career recently.

there were no choices or ranking questions in the rapid fire, there was no koffee quiz.

This seems like the first episode in a long time where nothing controversial was said, the fanwars and bashing that usually happens after a kwk episode isn't happening after this episode, and that seems to be the reason why so many are loving the episode. They didnt say anything about anyone else, it was just about them and their journey as a couple. I love seeing this side of ranveer, he was serious yet so lovable, and it seems like he wants to show this side of himself more, he wants people to take him more seriously.

Finally watched it on Hulu.

It was a very good episode. I’m glad they gave a good amount of time to talking about anxiety and depression. No one knew about KJo’s anxiety attack at NMACC. I remember seeing him with the arrivals but no other information had leaked out at all. Same with Deepika crying in the helicopter leaving SRK’s birthday in 2017. I remember seeing pictures of her getting ready to leave with everyone and she was smiling. To see things switch for her so suddenly and be in the middle of an anxiety episode. Kudos to all three of them for openly discussing this and giving people an idea and understanding of mental struggles.

Everyone has already talked about their love story and wedding video. I have nothing more to add so ditto.

The set is even uglier during the actual show than it seemed during promos. The color was so dull and it almost brought the mood down. Hopefully they’ll see all the criticism and change it with the rest of the episodes they’re yet to shoot.

What happened to the so-called private couple that they decided now to talk about. I guess desperate time calls for desperate measures

This episode was like a memo from the RS-DP-PR to clean up their image and clear up the open marriage rumors.
