Arre ajeeb tha, heroine was adopted by a family. The actual daughter of that family was very pampered while she used to do all the work, no one except her adoptive dad really loved her.

Her sister (real daughter of family) was to be married to the hero, but she wanted to become a heroine which she knew her family won't allow, so she eloped on the night of her marriage.

Now her mother and grandmother fearing that father will get angry at them and will not like this, emotionally blackmailed her to marry hero. She did that wearing a Ghoonghat, so everyone (even the hero) except these 3 women thought that he is married to the biological daughter of this family.

At the time of Vidai, the actual daughter returned (dont remember why), so they got her Vidai done with the SIL (matlab ek behen ki shaadi hui doosri ki vidai). Now in sasural too, she often tried to meet the guy who promised her the role, so would call her sister to fake as bahu in ghoonghat and go out,
