Yeah. I mean the basic fear is she is somehow betraying Angad or breaking vows with him by marrying this guy at gunpoint, not that she might have to face worse consequences after marriage. That is where the stupidity lies

If Angad was forced to marry , so was Sahiba. But only Sahibas has been insulted, punished and lost ber agency. She needs to seek permission to study/work- why?! Isnt that basic. Its not like she's doing it without fulfilling bahu duties. Shes still done bahu like things of taking the fall for others antics and still doing right by people like Kiara, Daarji. She reconciled manbeer angad too. She has not held it against people when they insult her whether thats her sister or her inlaws. And shes paying the price for it. Because the abuse is incessant.

Well those dialogues are just ainvayi there for trp. She cant not think of Angad at all especially when he's wrongly accused of killing her. But i think her fear is for getting raped/killed for real and then Angad also languishing in jail.

That's the problem most of the people don't understand that she was disowned by her own family and was sacrifice in the alter. The fact she was never a part of this fraud but became the part because she is a part of the member. As a middle child, she was ignored and here she is getting the same treatment by in her laws which forced her to take decisions where her heart says and she saw that Angad still have soft corner for seerat.

Her goal was to get educate and become something. But she was fulfilling the duty of a wife even though Angad didn't accept her much then... She respects grandparents but here the grandparents are orthodox and wanted her to become a house wife and again forceful way...

The reason Sahiba doesn't hold any emotions for Angad because she feels he is doing the same thing which her family did. They never understand her and took her granted.

Makers never took a stand for domestic violence they did with her character... I have least expectations from this show to depict any sensible topic in a better way. They liked Seerat, that they changed the storyline

The thing is writers of this show has orthodox and patriarchy mindset... This was not in og or in any version but I don't know why Hindi version is so bad. The way they shaped Sahiba from strong to a completely helpless woman. Angad did a lot of dirty things tbh. Fraud is small thing infront of Angad domestic violence episodes intially. The way he treated her .... And even Still he is treating her like that.

Sahan looked forced and not an ideal couple. I hope we get a new ML or divorce track.

But he knows every single thing except the proposal... Now, he is the first one to rescue Sahiba when she's in danger but is that enough? Like woh toh ek cop bhi kar saktha hein na.. I m not discounting Angads "Rescue Sahiba Missions"... but at this point he comes off as a fireman to me. Only there for Sahiba when danger calls. Otherwise he's rarely been there for her, specially after the MU... but he's always been available for Seerat emotionally.

Bold : Agreed....Angad had been horrible to Saheba regarding seerat.

But now makers have to show Angad's introspecting seerat's involvement too and he shouldn't let seerat go scot-free.
