What makes you think Kajol didn't like Kriti? Kajol had a hand in selecting Kriti for Dilwale itself when the makers liked Kriti over Alia. Plus Kajol invited her production company for Do Patti.

Edit: Oh yeah there was some friction during Dilwale itself but Kajol gets into fights and patches up easily lol.
