I think there is a remote possibility that Angad thinks:
Because sahiba is falsely accusing Seerat for an affair eith Angad....Angad thinks Seerat has a right to abuse Sahiba....maybe....that it's a cat fight and he does not want to get involved.
Both the characters are responsible for MU but what all happened later was all Amgad"s fault and it's majorly Amgad's fault:
1. Forcing seerat's wedding
2. Forgiving her shirt change, trying to slap sahiba, touching him before the candle light dinner scene
3. Forgiving her candle light dinner
4. Forgiving her kiss qttempt
5. Forgiving her ILU
Wrong proposal - even not asking Seerat why did u bomb my proposal site earlier
6. He does not give explanations to Sahiba for ILU - says Gal Khatam, but is giving explanations to Seerat for bringing Sahiba home.
Makers r either showing his repressed feelings for Seerat or making him tooooo Bhola or stupid...

Its for TMD , So Rumi abducts Sahiba, no suicide attempt , she will get injured, no idea to what extent, could be a small injury as we have seen in award function for Angad, but the injury wil be on her hand. So again Angad will become hero by saving from Rumi. I am not liking it anymore, that by being machoman ML is getting whitewashed. I doubt now that Manrat will be blamed , the blame will shift to rumi. As harsh said if he comes this time it will be more dangerous. So this time Sahan will be shaken to the core which will make them to clear the MU i guess.

One thing is confirmed in today's episode(jo maine 2min main hi FF kar diye) Manoo mamiji ko Seerat ki bhi padi nai hai... She just wants a bewakoof bheekhmangi doormat for her and her raja beta.
