There's another male character who is important to the story in the second half of the movie. But again, Ranveer Singh will have the strongest role of all. 

Can they actually just chuck Alia out?.....Her pairing with Ranveer is bland and not exciting at all.

The original role was done by the legendary Meena Kumari. How the standards have fallen. 😵‍💫

According to reddit,  Kiara is Gauri and Alia is Roopmati, as there is a spinoff movie planned on dacoit princess character.

- aloo is said to be signed by SLB for Roopmati spinoff as Dacoit ; i wonder if this happens how its going to be digested, oh & rumors doesn't stop there,  inshallah maybe happening, lets all pray aloo is not a part of it.
