I think Navya is a pretty girl, like in general. She looks naturally beautiful even without all this glamour hype and stuff. But DAMNNNNN she has no grace omg. Wtf was that walk????? Don’t they have tutors for this type of shit? Like a congeniality school or something? Lord. That walk was an eyesore. 🙄🙄🙄

Ok, peeps. If you're going to call Navya Nanda average, please post pics of those who you find above average.

Because in my admittedly female gaze, she looks quite good. Sharp features, wide and lively eyes, good Indian complexion.

Fingu, I remembered the bullying story after you mentioned it. Yeah, not for me, either.

Facial features wise, I find her beautiful. She has nice full lips and expressive eyes. Both are coveted features on a woman. However, she’s on the shorter side and lacks confidence to walk on the ramp. If this is the best walk she can muster, that is.

P:S: Edited because I accidentally quoted the wrong post. Blame it on the lack of caffeine.

My point was mainly about her facial beauty. She lacks grace. At least where catwalk is concerned.

Also, she's 5'6" as per Google when the average Indian woman is a flat 5' tall. Average American woman is 5'5".

How is Navya short?smiley5

Just to blanket reject people because of who someone's parents are would be as bad as accepting them for it.

I am not personally very dismissive of nepotism. I firmly believe people will reject the ones who are not worthy no matter how hard they try. But if meeting one or two criteria is the benchmark, why pick on Alia? She's easy on the eyes and is a better actor than many outsiders. We can't pick and choose favorite nepo kids and then diss the others for the same reason.

Not directed at you but in general.

For those saying she doesn’t have grace, she’s not an actress or model or so why are we holding her to those standards ?

Beyond that, you guys are literally running to watch people like Kriti Sanon and Alia who are so graceless and lachak-less that it’s an insult to beauty overall. If they can get 109 chances to do the same horse-like walking and dancing that they do, then why not others na?

Alia gets attacked because she gets painted as the greatest actor on the planet by KJo and compares herself to Meryl Streep and Amitabh Bachchan through her PR. Then the dismissive comments made by her fam.

I mean, greatest actor, male or female, in India? Note KJo didn't say even mainstream actor or star-actor or Hindi language actor. He said greatest actor, male or female, in entire India. I could name about 10 from Malayalam cinema alone who could act circles around Alia. I'm sure other languages have their greats too. HINDI has better actors than her smiley36

IMO, she's above average as an actor and average in looks with fair skin. In the sea of mediocrity that's her generation in Bollywood, she stands out. That's it.
