From what I see it, (writing wise) the whole seerat getting touchy to Angad comes more from Manbeer’s side. This is to ensure that Seerat remains blameless.

About Angad, the writers have kept him “oblivious” to surroundings and lost in Sahiba’s DDP.

Execution toh subjective hai. We all can have various views on this but writing wise, this is what I feel.

Ikr! Nowadays I have got this feeling, they are butchering all the other characters to give Seerat more space and make Sahiba seem more sensible. Because Manveers and Angads current characterization makes absolutely no sense.. Zero sense... Manveer was just rude before, a concerned mother... But she was mostly reasonable. Manveer had the full army of a family to raise Angad.I do not accept the logic that Manveer gets all credit for however successful Angad has turned out to be. She has loved him but every parent is expected to do that. And after marriage and after seeing Angad madly caring for Sahiba still she is just behaving as a pimp and sending Seerat to him. Cannot claim that he loves him . And she has never been shown as a good human at all. Starting from the very first episode she has been shown to be mean and holding grudges against more than half of her own family.

This is to ensure that Seerat remains blameless and when there is a revelation, the blame goes on Manbeer who will just say, “Main toh sirf apne puttar Angad ko khush dekhna chahti thi.” Matter over.

The only place where Seerat can be exposed is that she heard Angad’s proposal but kept quiet about it. But even there she can be “saved”.

I agree to all that you have written except the last line. When you say Sahiba has lied to protect Seerat when she left the Brars, do not forget that she saved Angad too from the insult. To her Angad is an equal participant in the illicit relationship so by keeping her mouth shut Sahiba protected both Seerat and Angad equally. And all her keeping mum (it should not be called lies) are for protecting other people. Sometimes Seerat but most of the times one of Angad's family member. So it is unfair if you count that trait for countering Angad's behavior.
