There is significant family drama going on in Jonas brothers lives, i think she stayed back to stay low and not cause any news cycle.

Also hollywood strike just ended, so she might be working already and probably not worth flying this far with such a young child for like a week

I think due to work "commitment' .. last time a director bad mouth Akshay for the same " commitment" where he left the movie barsaat because of Twinkle... for them work comes first and is more Imp than family unless you are sick or dying... then family comes first and family should be reminded of their responsibility and role...

Hollywood writers strike has ended. Actors strike is still ongoing. So the work excuse doesn’t fly at all. Besides the strike literally ended on Monday. This wedding was on Sunday.

As for the Jonas family drama, she’s not staying low by any means. There are pictures and videos of her dancing at concerts. In no way her traveling to India for a family wedding would have caused any kind of bad PR for her brother in law. No one knows why she didn’t come but the reason is definitely not work related (there is no work) or PR related. For reasons unknown she’s made the choice not to attend her own cousin’s wedding.

What things changed though? Her mom and brother attended. There’s a video of Parineeti’s brother seeing her mom off after the Delhi party and touching her feet and hugging her. So families are fine.

Maybe it was difficult for her to come due to Malti

Parineeti loves priyanka. She always cheer for her. I don't think Parineeti faked. Priyanka even invited pari for girls trip to mexico to which parineeti joined.
