JT: 95-8 after 14 overs

13.5 Motie to Imad Wasim, no run, Imad Wasim missed a quicker delivery on the stumps and got knocked in front of middle and off, the appeal was half-hearted and the review was more in hope than anything...

Guyana review for lbw against Imad Wasim. Did that pitch outside leg? Looks like it. It, indeed, has pitched outside leg. End of story.

15.2Tahir to Gordon, out Bowled!! Too good. The googly from Imran Tahir and Gordon didn't pick it one bit. Just stood back looking to block it had had no clue about the variation. That's it, the defending champions have been knocked out of CPL 2023. Mohammad Amir won't come out to bat due to an injury concern and that means Guyana Amazon Warriors are through to the finals. Gordon b Tahir 0(4)

Tahir to Gordon, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

What a thumping win for the Warriors in front of their home crowd. After putting up a solid 182, thanks largely to Azam Khan's 27-ball 54, the bowlers backed it up with a brilliant all-round show. Picked up 4 wickets inside the powerplay and never allowed the game to drift away. Barring the 31-run 9th wicket stand, there just wasn't any fight from the Tallawahs. Only three double-digit scores and that tells you everything you need to know. The Warriors slowed up a touch with the bat during middle overs, but got the impetus towards end and they made sure that momentum was never lost.

Dwaine Pretorius | Player of the Match: As a team we had a point to prove tonight, the boys are hungry to get the cup for the whole country and the crowd. The award, I don't think, it belongs to me, it belongs to AK (Azam Khan), I want to give it to him.

Brandon King | Jamaica skipper: I don't think we bowled very badly, credit to Azam, he batted really well. We don't think the target was out of reach. I am not 100 percent, but I tried my best to give my 100 percent. The focus is on my role (which is to do well with the bat) and I'm glad for this (captaincy) experience. Imad was brilliant for us, Amir with the ball as well. Very consistent players for us. (Gordon) he is one to look out for the future.

Imran Tahir | Guyana skipper: Feel really proud. Everyone chipped in and it's been the story for the whole season. They worked really hard and really good to see Azam get some runs. Really happy to see both Azam and Hetmyer get some runs today. We have been in this situations many times before, including myself, you have to have some nerves. We deserve to be in the final for the way we played throughout the competition. We got stability with the bat, we did speak about it. We just need to focus to play the game with freedom and execute our plans. We are hoping that he will be fit for the final and he really wants to do something special for the team. Thanks to all the crowd and all the Guyanese people all around the world for your support.
