Uh-oh, it has started to rain. The groundsmen were ready and they quickly cover the pitch. More sheets come on as they try to cover the entire stadium. There was a rain interruption in the first innings as well in the tenth over. We'll start to lose overs from 19:26 local time.

AUS: 56-2 after 9 overs

chotu: "It is a batting paradise. Wickets are more important. If Prasidh gives away 1-2 boundaries an over but take 5 wickets there would be no issue.. I would take 5-100 on this pitch.."

Last over of the first powerplay. But that will have to wait. Because it is drizzling. The covers are flying in from everywhere. Apparently it took six minutes to cover the ground in the first innings during the brief rain. That break was 39 minutes long. And the umpires also shaved off 15 from the innings break. Expect to lose overs if we don't start in five minutes or so (roughly).
