Because he is guilty of actually ruining it by first messing it up by saying lies to Ak's friend that she heard and ran away for the second time. And then lying to Abhi about Ak's well being and saying things like tum ek dusre k liye nhi Bane ho.

He is a staunch supporter of Ak staying out of Goenka house no matter with whom. He was the biggest Navra shipper few months back. He did a forced Kanya daan also. Technically he had already daan his Kanya to Abhi so Abhi should have done Ak's kanyadaan to Nav😂😂😂😂😂
