Angad is such a weird character - he thinks his wife should trust him when he hid so many things from her. It's true he's ready to reprimand Sahiba for pointing out her sisters misdeeds.. But the vice versa doesn't happen... He can only be redeemed if he yells and calls out Seerat for bad mouthing her sister... He stand against the whole family for Sahiba but not against Seerat... That's my issue with Angad.. If you can't do that what kind of a husband are you.... I understand you can't forget you first love very soon.. but by then Angad had started falling in love with Sahiba(or was he torn b/w Sahiba and Seerat dunno) ... he had started caring more for Sahiba to the point where he cried for Sahiba when she was hurt beyond words ( tho it was his own stupidity that killed her soul then) yet you can't discount the fact that the man felt for Sahiba then. But when the client reached he was back to his initial form. I was so disappointed with Angad during this track that I skipped most of the episodes in the track... After knowing how much Sahiba did for him, he allowed Seerat to raise her hand to slap his wife? I hadn't seen this episode but heard so many saying abt this... It makes me angry.. I hate this sort of behavior...

But yes, later Angad changed, he started trusting her.. But in Seerat di's case he's stuck there in square 1..and that just irks me a lot... It's a big fat flaw (flaw is an understatement) ... The day he asks Seerat to back off in a firm and angry tone... That day he will rise to be worthy of Sahiba...

For now I think it's Sahibas turn to misunderstand him and hurl all possible insults. I know it's not his fault this time... But it's good to see him in Sahibas shoes for a while.

I understand your views do not match mine with the topic in your last para. I agree that they initially decided to stay in the relationship as they got married and they did not want to let their respective families down. But that is not the sole reason any more. For me they developed feelings as they stayed together and understood what their core character graph is and they are actually both very similar to me. And I def do not think that Angad did all those "drama" in the hospital just because she has tolerated his family's abuse and he will not find a second wife who can tolerate this much. And yes Sahiba did fall in love slowly. The rescuing from fire etc and whatever followed none of them needed to do if there was no feelings. In fact Angad should have left her to die that day and he could have happily carried on with Seerat/someone else. Death of Sahiba by fire or liver surgery would not have brought any shame to the Brars so I do not see any reason for Angad to desperately want Sahiba to be alive in those plots. It just showed they can both to great extent for their other half. If you are not in love, I do not think you will get that urge to go that far.

That is my issue. Love isn't wanting the other person to live. Angad triggered the fire indirectly, he was guilty and couldn't let her die, that would be inhuman. Angad rescued Sahiba from fire, she couldn't leave him to his fate, she is human.

But I felt Angad fell for Sahiba after she did not leave him after learning who caused fire.

Which is very different from what I expected based on og, Khori actually left and Riddhi realized he can't live without her. Neither were in life threatening situations.

Love isn't just the ultimate sacrifice or losing senses when your lover is presumed dead. It is everything in between, which this couple visibly lacks.

The love story has occasional spurts of intensity but no real substance. Just haphazard nonsense when I wonder issko itna pyaar kab hua aur kyun hua aur ho gaya toh ek pal main mar kaise gaya.

This topic came to my mind today. The way Seerat is going, she and Manveer will instigate Angad to file for divorce pretty soon. But my heart and mind said he will never agree to file. I hope I am not proven wrong this time.

I don't mind him filing for divorce because ultimately they will have to come together for something or the other. Rather I want him to see Seerats real face and hate her to the core and expose her in front of the whole family saying she's the cause for his wife being hurt.... If I see that I am. Happy... Lekin I have no hopes of seeing it either.
