Finally I am getting a time to write a review.

Good things first, the movie is an out and out entertaining one, less boring moments, filled with great action and good story telling too, extremely well supported by the background score, Anirudh did a fabulous job with the bg score, and this was not even his best.

The timelines of papa and beta, well written, Papa looked better and had more plump in his story, and liked the fact that beta grew up amongst women and still was single for so long unless found the extremely hot Narmada, who herself was dumped by some loser, see men in every land even in fiction cannot value priceless women. The kid was annoying though but anyways good addition, because if not in real, atleast look wise Azad did look like a father too.

Kaali and his pills, amusing it was, not scary but i liked the fact that Kaali was not extremely menacing nor extremely dull, he was just a corrupted businessman, needed money while Azad did not have any aim in life so taking revenege was not a bad idea.

SRK look more original as Vikram Rathore, a real daddy, having gruesome swag and great screen presence, while Azad without any facial hair looked horrible, especially calling the hot daddy as baba, I was like dude, he should call you baba, baba was truly the epic eye candy superheroic natural hero which south movies usually flaunt, just watch Atlee's other movies.

Deepika was looking great and did great in her cameo, while Nayantara was excellent, she looked like a lady don, so much over powering screen presence and again some south swag. I liked how there was no romantic angle between Narmada and Azad, looked more like an arranged marriage and trying to figure out things. I really enjoyed both the flashbacks of the farmer's suicide and the doctor's license getting canceled, these was moments where you would feel man it is so depressing, and one man cannot really change the system. Kaali and Aishwarya confrontation in the jail, and him enacting the phaansi was so well done, maybe deepika looked too clean and beautiful for a criminal but I thought maybe kaali secretly loved her and hence killing Vikram would be a better story than just killing the dude over some stupid toy guns, waise bhi business toh uska accha khaasa hi tha.

What i did not like was the last 40 minutes, what was that ungli lecture, for a second I felt maybe SRK will blurt out 'picture toh baki hai mere dost, ungli se press karke ticket kato' smiley12. As much as i enjoyed the first train hijack, the last heist was equally bad, Sanjay Dutt did some momentary comedy there but that ungli bit ruined it. Also, DILF Vikram with memory loss was so much hotter and memory wapas aatey hi jaldi jaldi kahani khatam, i wanted more kaali Vikram bromance maybe.

Music was bad, the deepika song in jail was good, rest i do not remember. Anirudh composed some of the greatest numbers in south like VIP, kolaveri di, Megum karathe, why would he do this lameness here, no idea. Kaveri amma looked 30 years younger than Azad, atleast cast someone who can look like SRK's mom smiley29. Last but not the least, for the entire 3 hours, the single thought that popped up in my mind was Mersal, the Atlee movie which actually have a simialr storyline, almost 60 percent of the plot is same, and only difference was in Mersal there were twin sons and instead of toy guns, it was some hospital issues, and all the three thalapathies did not care to explore a girl gang for revenge, they were happy with family revenge only.

Overal, obviously a wholesome entertainment and if you have watched many south films, you will know it is a generic movie with too many spices. SRK as the DILF was great, and at the end read playboy, good job father.
