Agreed Akshara will be this is just friendship.

But I personally would love it if Abhi convinces himself this is all friendship nothing to worry or think about. And he just sticks to that and starts to distance himself she goes chasing after him. And he is like what are you doing this is just friendship and she gets so frustrated and says "I don't want to be your friend." And then Abhi goes "okay so then we remain as parents to Abhir only whatever you want Akshara." And she blurts out "You fool. Don't you understand?"
